As we shift to solely working out at home, it’s more important than ever to make sure you are making time to move. Your home may not be the place you associate most with fitness in your life, and that’s okay. You may find your living space becomes your dance floor, yoga studio, meditation room, and everything else in between. These are ideas of how to get moving regardless of what space you are in, you can find more in our myMomentum app:

Move to music
Music is a great motivator to get our bodies going. A good playlist is sometimes all you need to push through the toughest physical and mental challenges in a workout. Join a group fitness class that gets you moving to the beat or make your own playlist to power you through your workout. If you are looking for playlist inspiration, check to see if your favourite studio is sharing theirs on Spotify.
Work up a sweat
Kick off the weekend with your sweatiest sweat yet. Leave everything you got out on the floor with whatever type of movement you’re craving. Try catching up with a friend by doing a workout over Zoom. This is also a great way to keep you accountable to your movement goals.
Stretch it out
Take it easy. Bring it all back to your breath and body. Yin yoga is great way to stretch out our muscles while giving our mind a break. Get refreshed before starting next week.
