Have you recently been thinking about starting that project you’ve always dreamed of? Do you catch yourself visualizing what your life would be like if you prioritized x,y, and z? Now is the perfect time, start living the way you’ve always wanted. You’ll never feel ready so why not start now? This week we share some tips to start a project and realign goals and aspirations we may have lost touch with. Get ready, the best is yet to come.

Wake up, smile, and tell yourself TODAY is my day.”

Have a vision session

Sit down in a comfortable space and imagine yourself in a place where you have no barriers, deadlines, or fears. What does that image look like? What are you doing? How do you carry yourself? Are you spending your time wisely? How does it compare to your life right now? Write down what’s coming up for you and make a plan of action so your vision can begin to come to life!

Start small

Remember that something is better than nothing. How can you break down what you want to do into smaller, more approachable chunks? What is the one small thing you can start today? Once you’ve created your plan, share a small victory with a friend.

Start with HIIT

HIIT workouts are one of the best ways to get the blood flowing and heart rate up. Something quick and easy to do is the 20-20-20: do 20 reps of any 3 cardio movements. Try 20 jumping jacks, 20 high knees, 20 mountain climbers! Add some movement to your day to keep you engaged in your daily routine.

Give passion to get passion

The energy you give to what you do each day is what you’ll receive back. So today, make an effort to put positivism and enthusiasm into everything you do, it will be reflected back to you. Notice if your energy and mood shift as a result. Start your day with our daily challenges in our myMomentum app.

What’s holding you back?

Sometimes it’s our doubts, worries and fears that are holding us back from hitting our goals… so take some time to think. What are the things that hold you back? How can you move through them? If you’re feeling stuck or confronted, lean on your community for support and exchange tips to start a project and realign goals and aspirations

Sprinkle in some superfoods

We’ve all heard about these bad boys – chia seeds, hemp hearts, turmeric, goji berries… you name it. Try exploring new recipes or simply toss your favourites into your meals today to give yourself that extra boost!

Enjoy the journey

We’re always about the journey, not the destination. If you only have your sight set on your goals, you’re likely to lose steam along the way so enjoy the present moment. Sometimes it might not feel like you’ve accomplished much when you’re in it, but when you step back and take a look from where you started to where you are today you’ll realize you’ve done so much! Keep a journal or photo diary to track your accomplishments along the way.

Here some extra “Recharge” tips to complete this journey.
